WUKA gym and Active Wear

For many reasons, a lot of people skip their workouts during this time of the month. But there’s really no reason to skip out on exercise just because you have your period.

But let's be honest, not everyone feels the same energy when they are on their period. Do you know why? because both progesterone and estrogen are at their lowest during the entire length of the period phase of the menstrual cycle, which can make people feel tired and less energetic.

With that said, avoiding exercise isn’t going to save energy or make you feel better. Instead of ceasing all activity during your period, use this week as an opportunity to try some new workouts.

But you know what else puts people off from working out or going to gym? Fear of leaks, sweat patch, pesky leaks, chafing, irritation and horrible plasticky, chemical and perfumed filled tampons and pads that are really bad for your health.

This is one of the many reasons why our customer choose to use WUKA over other menstrual product for their exercise routines. Whether you are off to gym or working out at home, running in your near by parks or going for the swim in the sea, we have got you all covered.

Introducing WUKA Swim Bikini

Being active and running can be challenging at the best of times but for people who bleed monthly it can add another layer of difficulty❣️ I am so thrilled that I found @wukawear to give me the confidence to run EVERYDAY even on my heaviest days. Running can help ease those pesky cramps too, so even if you don’t feel like it and just want to curl up into a ball, a short jog/run might actually elevate some of the monthly niggles 😖 👊🏼 🏃🏽‍♀️
Don’t let anything hold you back and definitely don’t stop!
🙌🏼

So chuffed with my Day 1 cycle PB ❤️

Exercise can help to ease menstrual cramps as it helps release beta-endorphins which counteract the cramp-producing chemical, called prostaglandins, that are part of the menstrual cycle.

13 miles in storm Dennis and a pair of period pants and I am so wet and cold that it has actually taken me 10 minutes to type this caption

Deep breathing and yoga combined help to relax your muscles, improve circulation, remove blockages, and clear your mind. This type of yoga is called Yin Yoga.

Why not try these six yoga poses to see if they help you with your cramps.

I purchased these @wukawear period pants to test out on my run in the hope that if needed I could wear them for my Half Marathon. What I didn't expect was for them to be so comfy, yes they stop any leakages which is great but they are also easy to run in. They're so comfy that I won't just be using them for my half marathon but will and have been using them for all my runs!
If you haven't looked already I'd suggest trying them out.
