COVID-19 UPDATE

We wanted to reach out to you again with another update after the news few weeks ago and let you know what our plans are at WUKA HQ.

  • As we are an online only business with no contact with the public we will still be operating and dispatching your orders but with a two-woman team now in the warehouse!

  • Kate and Michaela will now be working on their own from the warehouse dispatching all of your orders.

  • We have created a two workstation far from each other, so there is no contact whatsoever. 

  • All other staff are now working from home and will be paid for the hours they work.

  • Royal Mail will not have any contact with you when delivering parcels as standard.

We know these are crazy times for all of us and we want to assure you that we will be staying well stocked on essentials to get you through this period which will hopefully allow you to leave the house less frequently as we can get plastic free items to your door safely.

HOW WE DELIVER ITEMS

  • All parcels will be sent without a required signature on receipt - if you would like a note adding to your delivery for the best place for the post man to leave this please email us at hello@wuka.co.uk

  • We can send items to other addresses so if you are wanting to send a care package to anybody then we can add a note in there for you - again just leave a note in the comments box at the checkout

  • The virus can not be spread via mail or parcels 

HOW WE WORK

  • Our warehouse is located now in a quiet area in St Albans and don't have any contact with the public apart from delivery drivers who are leaving parcels and signing for them on our behalf so there is no contact.

POSSIBLE DELAYS 

  • We are confident there will be no delays with orders to the UK after dispatch.

  • International orders are still operating as normal (the travel restrictions don’t apply to post) but please note they may take a little longer due to reduced transport operating

  • Italy - Royal Mail's air carrier has cancelled all flights to Italy until further notice. In order to keep mail to Italy moving they will be using the road network, which will result in an additional 24-48 hours transit time. There are also delivery delays on the ground. Poste Italiane are operating precautionary measures, aimed at minimising human contact. All mail items and parcels, will be deposited in mailboxes, with a notice signed by the postman/woman, informing the recipient of this temporary measure.

We also wanted to say thank you for your continued support, we know everyone is feeling unease about what is happening right now and as a small business your support really does mean the world!

This is a challenging time for us all as individuals worried about loved ones, our own health and businesses around the world but I promise you that we will keep on fighting to provide period pants so no women have to go through without.
