I feel secure!

Not only is this the most aesthetically appealing pair of period underwear that I own, but I feel the most comfortable and secure in them! This is the pair that I always grab first, and I kick myself whenever it's in the wash and I need a heavy-duty pair immediately. On days where my flow is monstrously heavy (when I through 2 Heavy Flow and 2 Medium flow pairs minimum), I have soaked through this pair but it still remains my go-to. It just means I need another one or three for those days!

As a side note, the mesh looks pretty visible in the photo but on dark skin, it does not look obvious at all.

Wuka Period Pants. What a brilliant idea!

I am in my late 40's and purchased my first pair of heavy flow Wuka pants, based on the fact that I was totally fed up having problems 2-3 nights every month with heavy periods, which have become slightly heavier with age now. I was previously using sanitary products which were uncomfortable and constantly leaking onto my clothes and bedding, even though I was using the maximum size & flow sanitary products I could find. I would wake in the night as another reviewer mentioned uncomfortable and paranoid of leaking onto my clothes and sheets. Having to wash the stained bedding and clothes the next morning is also a bit inconvenient. So I thought these Wuka pants were certainly worth a go. I tried them last week for the first time on my heaviest flow night. I had some success. Firstly they did leak slightly through onto my clothes and sheets out of the back at the top, as the gusset pad doesn't come all the way to the top of the pants, which when laying down in bed during heavy flow nights is a bit of an issue, as I leaked slightly over the top of the pad. The Wuka pants were however, way better at containing the majority of leaks and far more comfortable at night than using multiple sanitary products. My recommendation would be that Wuka have pants that offer further protection by way of the gusset pad that comes all the way up the back of the pants, this would then likely resolve all leaking issues. Overall I am extremely happy with this product. Amazing quality item, very nice material, easy to rinse after use and they wash really well. Happy as Wuka pants are better for the environment too, as saves me from buying so many disposable sanitary products. I have now ordered another pair of Wuka pants one size bigger to see if they are any better, as they do come up a little snug especially if you are slightly on the larger size.

I’ve had these for a while now and love how comfy they are! I do find it’s a bit tricky when in work in case they need changing but otherwise they’re great! Maybe WUKA could look into a wet bag for storage when you’re not at home?
I love not having to worry about the pad coming unstuck (as I’ve found with organic pads, they don’t stick well) and you don’t get any weird wedgies with them either.
One pair of pants does have a hole in but I think this happened in the washing machine so I now put them in a lingerie bag to wash. Definitely worth the initial spend!
