WUKA is the Official Supporter of Wales Women - National Rugby Team - Championing equality in sports

From International Women's Day 2022 WUKA is proud to be the official sponsor of Wales Women, the Welsh National Rugby Team.

As we know all too well, periods can sometimes get in the way. According to our research, they affect 80% of a woman’s exercise schedule. And various things contribute to this such as worrying about leakages, cramps, and also generally not feeling up to it.

We also found that from a poll* that 60% planned their exercise around menstruating and 1 in 6 said they didn’t even believe it was safe to do so. Well, we've got your back, whether you play for a national team, a local club, or on your playstation! We will ensure that you feel strong, confident, and secure. Allowing you to concentrate on the important things... like your winning streak.

We know that WUKA can #TackleAnything - if they can handle a scrum then they can handle a couch or a day at school! Head over to our site to see what the squads' favourite picks are for this season.

Here is the interview with some of the players from
Wales Women, the Welsh National Rugby Team. We talked periods, rugby and breaking the bias this international day.

Break The Bias

The theme for this year's IWD is #BreakTheBias, to align with our partnership we've decided to dig a bit deeper... Head over to our Instagram where we're discussing gender visibility, gender pay gaps, and funding within sports.
