FAQ: WUKA® Extra Long Hot Water Bottle

What makes the WUKA® Extra Long Hot Water Bottle different?
Unlike standard designs, this extra long hot water bottle provides full body coverage. Its elongated, flexible shape is perfect for wrapping around your body, easing period cramps, backache, and muscle tension more effectively than small bottles.
Is the WUKA® Extra Long Hot Water Bottle safe to use?
Yes, it is manufactured to the British Safety Standard 1970:2012 and comes with a guarantee against manufacturing defects. As with all hot water bottles, it’s important to follow usage guidelines to avoid burns — never use boiling water and always check for wear before use.
Can this hot water bottle help with chronic pain or conditions like endometriosis or arthritis?
Absolutely. Its long, flexible design is ideal for soothing larger areas of the body, making it particularly comforting for those experiencing chronic pain, endometriosis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or inflammatory conditions.
What is the bottle made from? Is it latex-free?
The bottle is made from natural rubber, which offers excellent heat retention. However, if you have a latex allergy, please take extra care as natural rubber contains latex.
How do I use and care for the WUKA® Extra Long Hot Water Bottle?
Fill it with hot (not boiling) water to about two-thirds capacity, carefully expel excess air, and seal tightly. Store it empty, away from direct sunlight, and check regularly for signs of wear. Always use with the supplied cover to protect your skin from direct contact.

Simple, yet great idea

This is a great idea. It's adjustable and helps ease pain whilst on the move.
I'm a size 14 clothing, so it comfortably goes right across my stomach and slightly around the hips, so it doesn't go all the way around but it doesn't need to. If I get more back pain than front, I simply turn it around and vice versa.
Its a simple but great idea and I recommend it

Really useful hot water bottle that you can use precisely where your aches and pains are located

I am very pleased with the wearable hot water bottle and I really like being able to tuck my hands in the front pouch. I do find the ties a bit tricky but I see myself using it regularly especially as we head into winter.
